I'm Raven Rose a chronically ill and disabled author and artist. I'm Trans Non-Binary and a Bi/Pan Demisexual. I'm disabled: AuDHD, OCD, cPTSD, chronic kidney disease, heart problems, arthiritis, and Ehlors Danlos Syndrome. I experience chronic pain, chronic fatigue, chronic nausea & vomitting, and "flare ups" which resemble intense flu like symptoms inluding low grade fevers, muscle and body aches, and migraines. Welcome to my journey as I get ready to be on my own for the first time in 15 years, go back to school, and try to get on federal disability in the United States.
This decision comes after a near decade long effort of trying - including 20+ medications, 10+ medical specialists, and 5+ surgeries, plus another in the books - to get back to work full time, and after 6 months, I ended up in the hospital with sepsis March-April 2024.
It was the rude awakening I needed to make sure I have a future at all.
As I work to get on Federal Disability (which will take years and laywers etc etc etc), I'm going to attempt to go back to school, find a degree and a job I can work that will not put me at risk for Covid (#stillmasking), and do anything I can to be the one making choices in my life. I've always dreamt of writing, so my goal is to one day publish my books, some of which are definitely 🌶️!!! Your donations will help me reach my dreams and I could not be more grateful.
